MEAL PLAN - DAY 1.
JUICE / SMOOTHIE.
To start the day with a fresh juice or smoothie was one of my best habits I´ve implemented in my life years ago (even before all the great juiceries became a fashion). But there are some facts you need to know.
There is a difference between a juice and a smoothie. Read about it here and then come back.
Remember, this program is based on mindfulness, so observe how your body reacts on juice vs. smoothie and each of the meals. Write down in your journal how you feel after.
RECOMMENDATION: All the recipes are in PDF printable files, so you can easily print them out and keep them in a kitchen folder. If you prefer digital storage, I recommend you create a LIVE WELL RECIPES folder and save your recipes there.
Let´s dive straight in - the first one is a combination of juice and smoothie. If you don´t have a juicer, don´t panic. You can use the half amount of the ingredients, put them in your blender, refill with water and give it a good stir.
BREAKFAST / SNACK.
This one is optional. For me the juice or a smoothie is just enough for the whole morning, as it delivers all the necessary nutrients. But maybe you are at the beginning of the transition to a healthy lifestyle and you might feel hungry.
So this is why I like to offer you some healthy snack option.
Remember that if it contains fruit, it is much better as a late breakfast or in an empty stomach and never as a desert or in the evening.
Take a handful of seasonal fruit (plums, mandarins, peach, berries etc), one banana, handful of mixed nuts and 2 spoons of gluten free oats (this might be quite filling so it is optional) and add a few spoons of organic goat kefir.
MEAL 1.
According the time you have during the day, you can decide which meal you eat for lunch and which one for the dinner. Every Daily meal plan includes one light food and one that is more filling.
If you try to lose weight, eat the filling one (risotto in this case) for lunch and then the salad as a light early dinner.
AVOCADO SALAD with VEGAN TORTILLA
MEAL 2.
Most of the recipes are done within half an hour, but note that this one might take about 45min to prepare as brown rice takes a while to cook.
It is worth it though…
